Ghina Itani, CHID NCIDQ EDAC
“For me, designing is more than concepts and details, it’s about creating functional, healing and beautiful spaces”, says Ghina Itani, owner/principal interior designer of Itani Design Concepts (IDC). Ghina works closely with clients and the interdisciplinary design team, during all phases of the design and construction process.
Ghina’s healthcare design work is based on research from the latest findings in design for health, which promote safety and healing of the patients, as well as minimize employee burnout. Her extensive portfolio includes residential, workplace, acute and ambulatory care projects through Adventist health, Accelerated Urgent Care, Kern Family Health Systems, AIS Cancer Center, Quest Imaging, Kaiser Permanente, Kern Medical, Encompass Health, Bakersfield Pediatrics and Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Center. Ghina has been published in many local and national periodicals, as well as participated in speaking engagements at a national level. Ghina has served on the Board of Directors of AAHID and continues to volunteer her time to grow the design industry.
Ghina holds degrees in Interior Design (Associate of Science) and Communications (Bachelor of Art) and is nationally certified through the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ), the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers (AAHID) and the Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC). She is also a licensed general contractor through the State of California.
In addition to her passion for design and construction, Ghina has recently acquired real estate license, and joined Keller Williams Realty, Inc. As a Realtor with KW, she has access to over 140,000 associates across the country to help you buy or sell your property. Keller William is leading the way in how properties are sold and purchased through online marketing.
