Tonie Pimienta founded Tonie Design in 2001 with the mission to provide her clients with a superior level of service and attention to detail that captures each client's unique lifestyle and personality. She has since created custom spaces for over 200 satisfied clients, predominately of return business and client referrals, which is a strong testament to both her creative talent and work ethic.

Raised in Mexico City by her father, a graphic designer and mother, a painter and educator, Tonie’s affinity for the arts began at a young age. However, it wasn’t until she moved to Los Angeles as an adult when she channeled this passion into a career in the interior design field.

Tonie earned her Interior Design degree from UCLA, while working with one of LA’s top designers. She is certified with ASID (American Society of Interior Designers), NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) and CCIDC (California Council for Interior Design Certification). In 2009, Sacramento Magazine’s commended her for the unbelievable home she designed combining contemporary, modern style with an Asian flare. Click here to view the gallery.

As a wife, mother of three and experienced designer, Tonie has a strong appreciation for each individual’s style of living. She spends time with every client and creates original designs based on their specific needs, while providing an outcome that is functional with their way of life. Her designs always answer the client’s needs and are coupled with her impeccable taste, which is often inspired by her exotic world travel and bilingual roots.
