As the owner of Michaelson LLC which is my Land Development Company and Mod Construction LLC which I retired from remodeling in 2016, now my focus is on providing Affordable Housing as Independent Dwelling Units, (IDU).

Attitudes towards ADU, DADU, and IDU as Independent Dwelling Units are beginning to change. Much of this transformation can be attributed to the effects of the Affordable Housing Crisis.

IDU as Single-Story Dwellings protects existing neighborhood character when so many do not like change, which helps achieve our community housing goals.

The City of Shoreline Council members and our Planning Commissioners are considering IDU’s as new Single-Story Dwelling Units only within the City of Shoreline July 2, 2020.
